Beginning their television careers with Bob Newhart on “Newhart” Billy and Jane have produced and written over 300 hours of television comedy.
They received Emmy nominations for their CBS special “I Love Lucy: The Very First Show” which unveiled the “I Love Lucy” pilot episode which had previously been lost for over forty years, and was the highest-rated program on network television that season.
For their work on “The Hughleys” Billy & Jane received a Multi-Cultural Prism Award, and were nominated for People’s Choice and NAACP Image Awards.
On Martin Lawrence’s ground-breaking “Martin” they won a People’s Choice Award and received an NAACP Image Award for “Best New Series.”
Billy and Jane are currently filming their Disney Channel pilot “JACK AND JANET SAVE THE PLANET” starring China McClain, Spencer Boldman, Sierra McCormick, and Jake Short with guest stars Barbara Sammeth, Elise Neal, Mary Chieffo, and Steve Seagren.
